I’ve waited forever for me & you to become us
and when you don’t speak, it’s the sound of home
I love hearing your heart beat acoustic

Not a lot to say behind my surgical mask
I won’t bother saying but I am glad you ask
Can we not talk about the apocalypse while
the apocalypse is actually happening please

I’m shouting into the gallery but it’s completely quiet
there’s a peace in my mind that really goes to riot
you know I don’t like feeling that I’m in the final episode
when they pull the pin on us do we just expl–
